Ordering Textbooks Spring 2021

The following is a step-by-step process for how to order and receive your books for the Spring 2021 semester.  Please note that processes have changed as a result of our desire to provide the greatest amount of safety for our UD community.

Step 1: We ask that you place your book orders no later than finals week in December of 2020.  This will allow the proper amount of time to order the correct materials, process, and package orders in order to have them ready to distribute at the beginning of the Spring semester.  To place your order go to shop.udayton.edu and use either your Single Sign-on, under "My Account" or the "Textbook Look-up" function to view and order your required books for the Spring 2021 semester.

Step 2: Place your order.  Textbook scholarship funds can be used by selecting the "Textbook Scholarship" payment method at checkout.  Available textbook scholarship funds will be applied to the transaction and any charges not covered by those funds will be applied to the student's account.

Step 3: Wait for your email indicating that the order has been completed.  Order completion will begin after the holidays.

Step 4: Once you have received your completion email, use the link provided within that email to schedule an appointment to pick up your books.  To help ensure appropriate distancing, pickup will be available by appointment only.  When you select your appointment you will be directed to a screen similar to the one pictured below.

Step 5: Come in and see us!  Bring your student ID, order number, and a mask.  Please come at your scheduled appointment time. The bookshelves on the upper floor will remain closed to the public.  The Bookstore will not accept cash.  Customers can purchase items with credit card, Flyer Express, Textbook Scholarship, or charge to Student Account.  Access is restricted to the restrooms and the rest of Marianist Hall.
